Decent

By Sim from U.S.A on 8/23/2011 6:45:36 PM

Received these brushes today and they seem decent right out of the packaging. What I don't like is the gloss/varnish that's on the brush handles. Mine has creases, ripples and indentations on them, and they make the brushes seem used and tacky. Unfortunately, these aren't available with the matte handles.

Great set for those starting out!

By Fay from Canada on 1/20/2011 5:15:04 PM

If you have been waiting to get a professional brush set or have just started out with makeup this is for YOU! The quality of the brushes is just amazing, they are SUPER soft and I have had no shedding after washing them twice and I can't say the same for some of my higher brand makeup brushes. The handle of the brushes do have a bit of a strong smell but it does fade and in no way affects their performance. Who can forget the price, 12 brushes for 49.95 , you wont get a better deal anywhere else! I have already recommended Sedona Lace to my friends and family!

WOW! Should of bought this first!

By Johanna's the makeup junkie!! from Richmond, VA on 1/7/2011 11:23:49 AM

I own both sets of brushes from Sigma and I purchased them after going to MAC. I couldn't justify spending that much money on MAC brushes and heard that Sigma made MAC quality. Then I found a review on youtube on Sedona Lace Brushes and because I was already thinking of getting some duplicates of the original Sigma set, I ended up ordering the exact same set from Sedona lace and to my delight, these brushes were just as awesome as Sigma who is just as awesome as MAC. The full set of complete brushes from Sigma are $112.00!!! The same set from Sedona Lace is $59.95!! That is over $50 saved!!! Think of all the other great makeup products you could buy with that! I compared each and every brush side by side and there is NO difference. These brushes don't shed and are still wonderful even after a deep cleaning. The brush roll is different from Sigma's but it is still a quality brush roll. The roll is well constucted and durable, cute and easy to clean. The Sedona Lace logo is embossed so it won't rub off or fade. If you are debating on where to buy your brushes, $50 dollars (savings) says you will love Sedona Lace brush set! If you already own a Sigma set, you should still buy this set because if you want a duplicate shader brush, blush brush, crease brush, etc... Purchasing individuals from Sigam will end up costing you as much if not more that what and entire set will cost from Sedona Lace. Get you some Sedona Lace brushes and you will not be sad!

Well...

By Mary from Houston, TX on 1/6/2011 3:11:12 AM

I really wouldn't say that these are EXACTLY the same quality as MAC brushes--because they are not--but they are very close to being. I have a large amount of MAC brushes and I was comparing these brushes to and I have to say that I like how soft they are, but just because they are soft doesn't mean they are perfect. Yes, they are good for the price, but if you want higher quality brushes, of course you have to pay for it. I like these brushes and they are being used as an everyday brush set for whenever I feel the need to play with my makeup or I am too lazy to wash my MAC ones. I like them, but I do like my MAC ones better. Hope this helps everyone else out there. Also the tapered blending brush flares out a little more so then I would like and the brushes have a distinct smell to them (like paint smelling and I washed the brushes afterwards too and the tapered blending brush had an large excess of black coming from it...must be the dye from the brush or something).

AWESOME!

By Julie aka Julielovesyoou from Chicago, Illinois on 12/31/2010 5:25:48 AM

i LOVE THESE BRUSHES! and for the price? WHO COULD SAY NO?! I mean there not theeee best brushes in the world, but hey, they work, and they work good! The ONLY problem i have with them, is they shed a bit, but hey all brushes shed a little right?? oh.. and the "pencil" brush isnt the greatest either, its very flimsy. But its still very good for the crease, just not under the lash line. oh well... but again, fifty bucks, for 12 AMAZING brushes?! Who could say no? :p

A M A Z I N G

By Amanda from New York on 12/26/2010 2:38:59 PM

I just received this 12 piece professional makeup brushes in black from my mother for Christmas. And all I can say about it is.....WOW! These brushes are amazing!! I washed them last night and used them this morning and it made for a completely flawless application! And the greatest thing about this is the price! 12 brushes! for only $50?! you will never find another place that sells GOOD QUALITY makeup brushes for a cheaper price like Sedona Lace! and not to mention how soft these brushes are! it's almost as if you have silk on your face! but they are also dense enough to get the job done! I highly recommend this product to anyone who's thinking about getting it! You will definitely not regret it!

Wonderful quality for an awesome price!

By Jessica from on 12/14/2010 9:41:17 PM

I was very hesitant to get this set because I kinda had the mindset that buying brushes that were comparable to MAC would be the same as buying ripoffs of MAC cosmetics on ebay. BOY, WAS I WRONG. The quality of these brushes is amazing. My husband, who knows NOTHING about makeup/brushes etc, could NOT tell the difference between my MAC brushes & Sedona Lace brushes. The only complaint I had about these (which is something really small & doesn't matter much to me.) is that the brush handles smell like fresh paint. I've noticed that the smell is wearing off, and in no way affects the quality, performance, or bristles. I would definitely recommend this brand to all of my clients, friends, and family. Thank you, Sedona Lace, for providing such an amazing deal for us all! <3
